All of the members of our team are well-trained professionals dedicated to continuing education and excellent care. Many of them have worked at The Classic Smile for many years. Each one of our team members has a unique personality and great qualities that all our patients seem to enjoy.
Drs. Short and Schnell are a husband and wife team, who have been in practice together for over 20 years.
 Richard A. Short, DMD
Dr. Richard A. Short graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 1982 and has been a dentist in Medford since he and Dr. Schnell purchased a 30 year established practice from Dr. Kolligian in August 1984. Dr. Short is currently a clinical instructor with B.U.S.D.M. and is part of a unique program, which trains dental students in a private clinical setting. Dr. Short, through over 1000 hours of rigorous and dedicated study and hands on participation courses, received Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and on staff at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Dr. Short is an avid photographer and you we see many of his works on display at the dental office.

 Ronni A. Schnell, DMD
Dr. Ronni Ann Schnell graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 1981 and immediately was invited to join the faculty at B.U.S.D.M. in the department of removable prosthetics. Dr. Schnell also entered private practice in Medford in 1982 with Dr. Michael Kolligian. Dr. Schnell and Dr. Short purchased his practice in 1984. Dr. Schnells specialty at The Classic Smile is aesthetic removable dentistry. She is currently an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of General Dentistry and the division of Removable Prosthodontics and is the Course Director for PreClinical Removable Prosthodontics. She also lectures in advanced clinical topics and is the Senior Clinical Director of Removable Prosthodontics. Dr. Schnell received a Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry for over 1000 hours of rigorous hands on participation courses, She is a member of the American Dental Association and on staff at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She is an accomplished figure skater who has even performed at Adult Nationals in Lake Placid!

She will provide you with appointments that will ensure for completion of treatment in a timely way. Nikki can also help you with any billing questions you might have.
She works with your insurance company to ensure that you receive maximum benefit for your treatment.
